Replying to Help me convince my parents...

To let me get a mohawk!

My two best friends and I were going to get mohawks sort of as a joke, but to actually celebrate the beginning of this season. It wasnt gonna be a big gnarly plake mohawk, and it wasnt gonna be all bald on the sides of my head or anyhting. just buzzed on the sides, longer in the middle.

My parents think it will give me a bad image or something, and that people will think i look like a skinhead or im trying to be tough. I told them that was stupid, but it obviously didnt work that easily. They also think its gonna make my boss mad. btw im 16.

What should i do to convince them that its just hair and its no big deal?

Sparknotes: I want to get a mohawk with some of my friends, but my parents think i will look like a punk or something.
