Rossignol warranty question

I found a deffect in my top base on my rossi s5's. Im afraid that water will get in my skis and fuck up my wood core. Should I ride them anyways and if they fuck up send them back on the warranty, or just send them rigth away. Are rossignol good with there warranty's, cause there is cleary a defect in my ski. Does anyone have past experiences with rossignol's customer warranty??

I would take them back, if you ski them they might say it was your fault for making that decision just contact them as soon as you can.
