Has anyone ever used metal bleachers to slide?

Some guys made a nice setup near me, but I've never seen anyone slide something like that.  How does it do?  My urban skis have no edges, so I'm not worried about catching.  It's a couple metal benches similar to what you would sit on in a high school stadium.

Lucas Magoon does it on a snowboard but I'm sure that'd be totally different on skis.

trek benches work great....you can grind them with soccer cleats i do at practice

Trick with aluminum is to hit it like it was a natural log jib.  It slides fine once your on it.  If you come down too hard on it, you can definitely dig in.

might work a little if you have no edges but i would say you might be better off finding a way to bonk it rather than slide it

If you ripped your edges out, go crazy, you can grind anything. just don't hit big gnarly kink rails with no edges to slow you down.

yeah this. aluminum definitely sucks balls to slide but if you have no edges youre completely set

Aluminum step ladder = small grind surface.  210 straight gs skis with sharp edges.  Seemed to work for me.

we've done them at 4th of july bowl, they slide ok, but watch out cause they're soft and you can dig in on them and catch.

Most bleachers are aluminum. Bad idea. The metal is so damn soft.

it can work, but as it was said before, it's not the best material for sliding... And trust me it sucks when you come to an halt because your edges just gripped in... It hurts
