if i can recoment 1 thing, get an exercise bike, and just spend as much time on it as you can.
Sorry to hear. If you're getting a full reco (what it sounds like) Then it's very unlikely you would be skiing april march. You might want to look if they say yo uwill be able to because there are two types of recos you can get. One where they reattach the ACL quite loosely leaving you with a shorter recovery time, but the ACL continues to stretch over time especially if you are putting a lot of pressure on it (ie skiing) and you will need to get another one in a few years time. Or Type 2 they put it on very tight and you have to stretch it out yourself, longer recovery time but is better in the long run, mainly used for high level athletes.
Just do lots of physio, try and build your muscles up as much as you can before the surgery and as much as you can after. You will need the biggest platform you can get to ski again as soon as you can. Also don't let the muscles just wither on your other leg work that out as well. Good Luck
