So I have a trip lined up, going to Powder King on the 28th, and because I lived on my own and was really poor, this will be my first time even stepping into a pair of skis in 2 years. For that reason, I have to rent, unfortunately. PK is belly-button deep already, and the "All Mountain" skis they have are Salomon X-Wing 400 with 609SC bindings and Salomon XW Hurricane with Z12 bindings. BUT I want to ride switch, (if I still can) cause its one of the best feelings ever.
They also have TenEighty Flyers and Guns, and Im thinking of renting these instead. If I rent one of these sets, am I going to die in the trees or dropping smaller cliffs? Never tried either and just want to know if theyre gonna be decent in the pow.
