so my dog died last night

so, my dog was pretty sick and we were gonna put him down today anyway and i came downstairs at like 3 in the morning to get water and there he was laying there, i put my hand on him and it was the weirdest feeling to not feel any movement just complete stillness, so me being a med student assesed him of probable causes and such and took him to the emergency vet hospital at 3:30 am to have him disposed of i guess, it sucks but he's not suffering now

My dog drank some really cold water after running for a few miles with me and her heart blew up, but yep when your pet dies it sucks.

my old cat got her stomach/gut bitten out by a mad stray dog. It was horrible seeing her lie there blood and guts on the grass.

But we got a dog now and he's the best mate i ever had.

we had to put down my first dog because she bit someone about 2 years ago already...we only had her for 3 years but it was so hard. i can't imagine walking in and seeing man's best friend like that...yikes, i feel for you...

yeah...i miss my turtles and my hamsters...the turtles got crashed by my mon,the hamsters ate themselves,and then i had a cat (which wasn't mine)for awhile and died of poisoning...so painful.
I'm gonna buy a dog.

my cat died, so I got another one, but its not the same. Hes bad, its all hyper and digs up the plants and fights with the dog, but it drinks beer right outta the can if I tip it for him, never seen an animal do that before so hes stil cool.

My guinie pig killed itself, it was blind, one night it ran into the chickenwire fench around it's cage and bled to death through the night, i was inconsoleable for days. Sorry to hear of ur loss man :(

The most traumatic event of my childhood was when I was 5 and I had my 'first pets', some tadpoles that my dad helped me catch at this pond. I had the normal expectations that I could help them grow into big frogs and stuff, but when I woke up and saw that they had partially eaten eachother and lying on the bottom of the bowl motionless, I felt like a piece of me died that day.

I have had my cat sence like i was 5 or so and not sure how i will feal when he dies. Yea i know some one who was racoon hunting and shot one of his cats, i bet he stood over it with a grin.

my friend lives on a farm and always has a ton of cats and every once in awhile a dog. They always die too. Someone in their family either runs it over or shoots or it falls in their pool. One time my friend jumped off a tractor and landed on a cat and it didnt die it was just all broken and twitching so he cut its head off with a shovel.

I'd be pretty sad if my cat died though.

my grandfather usually hunts wild bores,like crrrazy wild bores,500 pound shit,and his dogs got probably killed like 6 times by those beasts or by gunfire..
A friend of mine lost 2 dogs: = 1 of them died on the street(in a big city)run over by a car,and the other one in the EXACT same spot as the first one,but run over by a bus.A huge bus...they were huskies.

that's so sad, we had to put my dog down that we'd had since i was like, 4 or 5 and it was the crappiest day of my life, i cried for hours...the last thing i remember was holding my other dog as i said bye to my big dog and running upstairs

that sucks man, dogs are the chillest friends youll ever have, not to be insensitive, but i dont see why in movies, when a killer, say in a slasher film, kills a fuck load of people, your stoked on the killer, youll say shit like 'woops, shouldnt have gone into the kitchen you dumb bitch' but when he kills a dog or horse or something, hes suddenly the worst guy in the world, and why dosnt this extend so far with cats
