So being highly disorganized, I have somehow lost the shutter remote to my camera and was looking forward to taking some shots of the meteor shower tonight. Seeing as it would be virtually impossible and very frustrating taking long exposure shots simply by hand, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to make a cable release or something similar by hand. I would spend hours on google looking for something but unfortunately I've got a pretty major research paper I have to work on. If anyone could help out I would send some mad karma their way. Thanks.
Also before anyone asks, the closest legitimate camera store is about 50 miles away, so that's out of the question.
