Does class registration make sense at your college?

I transferred over 35(max ap credits + 5 for a college course I took with some foreign language stuff) credit hours and I'm taking a full schedule however I'm registering on the latest date possible. They claim to do it by credit hours and that just makes no sense because kids with less credits are registering before me. Does your college class registration make sent
tl;dr : My college is stupid and I'm registering late for no reason.... so I'm going to vent about how dumb it is.

the system used for class registration at my school (ironically named "loris") is incredibly slow, and ALWAYS crashes when a new term opens up for registration.
in that capacity it does not make sense.

Ya mine isn't too great either, it seems like they pretty much suck for everyone.

My school's alright. Besides the fact that registration times are supposed to be random, but I get a shit time every semester. Lame.
On second thought, yeah, I guess mine does suck.

My schools registration is pretty decent, the only shitty part about it is searching for your classes and making your schedule before it actually opens up. But if you have all your CRNs' and stuff ready before it opens it takes two minutes max to get it over with.

The one for my school sucks, but it gets easier every year. I would just rather not wake up mad early and yell at my computer for an hour.

Ours at the U is confusing too, freshman register last for their first semester, but first for their second semester, and then from there on, the more credits you have, the earlier you register.

pretty straight forward at all the schools ive been to, based on your credits you can register a certain day by picking out the classes you want online and typing that code into the browsers and you're set if its open.

The thing that you might be missing is that some kids have like. 8 hours worth of AP credits transferred over. So they may only say they have 35 but in actually they will have upwards of 43 or so. Just a thought. My school does it all by credit hours too and i get fucked over

ya ours is actually pretty easy....you pretty much just have to get your advisors to clear you for online registration then you just do it online. That being said, the higher ranking you are in terms of credits (freshman, sophomore....) the earlier you can register and get into classes easier.

yeah it's pretty good except for the fact that it has a nasty habit of crashing as soon as registration is opened to a new class

yea my school has a pretty good system. But every once and a while my registration starts at 5am. which sucks but I always get all the classes I want
All times are Eastern (-5)
