Looking for colleges

I am looking to go to school somewhere out east or west.. I live in Michigan and am a big skier.
I was looking for any D1 schools in like vermont, colorado, utah, montanah, idaho, etc

I know from visiting a lot that all colorados big schools are 2 hours away from the mountains.. that might be to much

dont know much about VT besides the sick skiing

and the mormons of utah scare me and people tell me i should stay away from utah schools

anyone got any advice?

University of Denver, anything you want know I can help you with! I am a Senator at DU and ski probably two times a week. :) If you decided you want to make a visit let me know and i'll get you hooked up with some cool kids to stay with.

make sure you dont go to Utah. you would absolutely hate skiing there. the mountains are just to close. it wrecks the the allure of driving hours instead of minutes to ski.

seriously, you cannot beat the convenience, last weekend, 90 minutes after getting off the plane i was in PC skiing. (and that could have been faster if the enterprise people didnt have their head up their ass)

well like i said i live in michigan and travel out west a lot to ski but never get to visit the college side of things.
Im pretty sure i want to make it out west im just not sure to where.. colorado or utah
