All those characteristics should be taken into consideration when choosing a pair of planks. All those features vary, which creates a different feel to every ski and we need to know what your likings and physical attributes are. Ok, the two pairs you were looking at are very quite different. They are both symmetrical, but the big difference is the flex of both of those skis. The afterbangs are very soft, and the pipe cleaners are quite stiff. Lets break it down... If you want a ski you can butter on and hit rails the afterbangs will be better in my opinion. The pipe cleaners on the other hand with their stiff flex pattern, makes up a very good stable ski on jumps and as the name says it, on the icy pipes.
