Being Forced to Go to the Warren Miller Movie Tonight

So, the girlfriends father is a cool dude. He knows I love skiing and thought it would be a nice gesture to get us tickets for the movie tonight. Thanks... kinda.

Now here in lies my dilemma. When I first heard about WME suing Level 1 I agreed with most people and thought it was complete bullshit. There's no way I want to support a company that is ruining a company I love.

So I'm stuck. I love skiing and think movie premieres are great. I would look like a total douche to the gf's dad if I was like "no way man I'm not going". I hate WME and don't want to give them any money, even if I didn't pay, but just showing up and supporting them sucks.

So I'm looking for a passive aggressive way to have some fun at this movie tonight. I was going to make a tshirt that has a big WME with a circle around it and a line through it. But, im too lazy and dont have an extra shirt. So help me out!!! Give me something fun to do!

Oh yeah if anyone else is going to the Manchester NH premiere of Dynasty come find me. I'll be wearing a black and gold floppy crotched hat and maybe my NS afterbang hoodie.

just wear a Level 1 shirt and if you dont have one, just bring a sharpie and if you get a freebie that says WME on it, just cross it out and write Level 1.

I was in a similar situation. I just wore my level 1 t-shirt. Instead of turning in that bullshit mail thing for the contests they do, I wrote some very angry words towards WME on the sheet and turned that in

I think you should get of your moral high horse and go to the premiere. Who do you love more, Level 1 or your gf?

The tickets are already bought and paid for - you won't be doing shit if you refuse to go, besides looking like a self-absorbed douchebag.

do a brief half page write up of what's going on, go to kinkos and print it out 100 times. Put big up top "IF YOU LOVE WARREN MILLER, READ THIS" Then when nobody is looking, spread that shit out all over the ground just outside the doors to whatever room the movie is showing in.

make sure to make the distinction between WME and Warren real clear.

That way, you don't have to take any sort of responsibility (like you would with a shirt) but you can still be active and justify going.

Take one of your white tall t. Write WME in big bold letter. then do a big ass cross in red on it. DONE. plus you can still wear that tall t while skiing.

Believe me, I hate Warren Miller for what they are doing to Level 1 but seriously go and chill with your girlfriend and enjoy the stolen PBP seggys. Now that being said make sure you wer some sort of Level 1 apparel or and Anti Warren Miller shirt.
