Americans don't bow to monarchs period, especially the fucking president. I don't give a damn what the political hierarchy does there, that's in Japan. A handshake is respectful enough, and the fucking guy didn't bow to Obama. How is it appropriate for a US president to show subservience to an "emperor?" however titular his power may be, it is still disgusting.

sometimes diplomacy isnt about proving you are better than every other country. You need to show respect in their way, just as the japanese emperor shook obamas hand.
