Thats true. Generally an admirable characteristic of a real american hero. Washington didnt quit. Luther did'nt quit. Nader could be something great if fucks like you gave him a chance.

Luther and Washington actually had something to say. This guy has consistently been owned in every election he's been a part of. What makes gives him the unfounded confidence to keep running. Clearly, the American people have never and will never want him to be the president. All he is good for is leeching independent votes. He has no chance.

i went and heard him speak, and realized that 3/4 of the people have no idea why he runs.

he isn't running to win, but instead he does it to force people to think about more issues. He's against the 2 party system, because it really isn't giving the people a choice. You have to vote for the democrats and all they stand for, or the republicans and all they stand for. So you don't really have a total choice, and thats what he is against.

he's a cool guy and was great to talk to in person, but people just need to realize that he runs in order to force the other 2 parties to face more issues.

ralph nader and ron paul should be put in a cage to fight to the death. afterwards, the winner can have a lion released on him while all the hippies and kids who think they know it all can cry on as they watch their "only hope" die.

despite the lack of intelligence in that comment, Im glad you brought up Ron Paul. Im a big fan of him too.
And as was said above, the function of these guys is and was mostly to bring up certain issues. If Paul/Nader bring up one point, the real running candidates will one-up or at least respond to whatever they said. In that, they have some weight in how debates go.

that is the slogan where i'm from. i live next to Nader's hometown of Winsted, CT, and he gave us a bunch of free books a few years back about ethics and college and democracy.

You know this guy has no chance right. He has ran in like the last 3 or 4 elections and never gets more than like 3% of votes. No politician is going to win without running on republican or democrat backing.
