Our only homework in our drawing & painting class is filling our sketch books with 3 & 1/2 hours of art every semester. Obviously I leave it till the end of the term to start. I have to draw for 3 freaking hours now. So, might as well make this fun, so I packed a bowl and started drawing.

Oh my god that shit I came up with today, its crazy theres like a whole mini base in there with a theatre and then theres a fucking foot being stabbed. Like I just sat back while my hand did all the work it was amazing.

I'm still high so I don't know how well I'm typing grammar wise and shit so please give me a break on that...

Also I'm sorry if this sounds like a "I'm high! I smoke weed! I'm cool!" thread, its not but it may possibly come off like that. I have a feeling this might come back to bite me in the ass but...here's the drawing:

i believe the only way for me to decipher this drawing is to actually get high myself. which will so happen to be tomorrow after my psych test so sit tight and the stoned opinions will be flowing. (hah i love trying to sound smart)

i met a deaf guy at a bar in slc a few weeks ago who pulled out his sketch book and showed me this picture he drew all tweaked out on meth.

he thought it was this brilliant display of color and shading and wouldn't shut up about it for over an hour.

what it really looked like was a bunch of freddy kruger drawings fighting eachother, drawn by some retarded meth addict.

"if uwe loook hewe uwe can see dat frweddy has on his gwove from da fwirst mooovie. in da second moovie he had tooo uwese a new gwove becaus somewon stowe da gwove frwom da fwirst moovie..." and so on. for an hour.

your picture is much better than his.

I like that, but I you may want to keep at it if that's all you have in that sketchbook. Try to make something completely different so it looks like you have a bunch of different inspirational sources and maybe even like you did it on different days.

I don't think I ever mentioned that that specific drawing took me 3 hours...
I had some other stuff in my sketchbook too so overall I had around 4 hours worth of work, I didn't put much effort into it this term, I might for 2nd term, we'll see.
