Eh, I'd be willing to bet he has insurance. He'll probably end up with a sicker car than before. Certainly embarrassing and he deserves to take a lot of crap from his buddies.
according to the article, a low-flying pelican distracted him, he dropped his cell phone, reached to pick it up and veered
off the road and into the salt marsh
i cannot stand people with extremely fast cars who are completely incompetent drivers. in my opinion there should be some sort of test to determine if you are capable of handling such a monster of a car
salt water wouldnt affect the body of that car... only the internals. the body is made out of carbon fiber and the rest is aluminum, im pretty sure at least.
when you say weather. you mean like if it drizzles or snows or shit like that? seriously? are they not fucking water resistant? honestly if i had a veyron, i would put some nokian custom sized snow tires on that and whip it in the winter. thats what we did with the gallardo, and it was better in the snow than any other car i have ever driven.
with that much power it can sneak up on you if your not capable of handling it. it takes much more concentration to drive a car like that as compared to the average passenger, or sports car even
yes and no. those cars require less skill to drive than lets say a 1000+ hp supra or something of the sort. the computers do the work for you, all you have to do is know how to turn the wheel, and apply the brakes and accelerate when you want it to.
