Mount Snow Opening Day

Ive heard rumors that Mount Snow will be opening this weekend but im not sure its true becuase when i checked out their site it didnt say anything about it. Does anyone have information about wether or not itll be open this weekend?

its highly doubtful considering its gonna ve really warm and they wont be able to blow snow

Its been in the high 40s in West Dover, VT so maybe not. Idk how cold its been at night though

"The tentative opening day is the 21st. But it all depends on the weather. CapurnicusClick for larger image made a few good points, where we do have semi-limited water, and it costs a bunch of money to run the guns.

Our opening weekend back in mid October worked out because it was really really cold that week, and we were only blowing 9 guns on Launch Pad. Our next plan is Nitro, Long John, and a few other sizable trails.

We blew snow like crazy in the upper sections of the mountain last week, and after two nights gave up because the weather shifted and totally screwed us. We're super antsy here at Mount Snow too, we want to open and make all of our skiers and riders happy. supposed to rain saturday

killington will be open tomorrow and saturday with a chance on sunday depending on if the rain clears out lower bunny buster or not

this. i was gonna hit up killy, but i'll take head high and glassy on sunday. hopefully my brain doesn't freeze cause i have no hood. south jersey should be interesting for sure.
