are u FUCKING kidding me?

these fucking donkeys lead out pre flop with 8 2 in middle position...i get rags all night then when i finally get a hand, im up against bullets and am drawing dead after raising and calling a re-raise pre flop, i bust out for the rest of money on my account.

i swear to god if i get sucked out of a 30/70 hand again this computer is going through that window.

basically...ive been having the worst luck with hands in my life for the last 2 weeks and its killing me.

anyone else having any luck at the tables? ive been having a bad run recently

I stopped playing poker about 4 years ago when i realized it was retarded.

o i do man, but my style of playing is mainly small ball, so im usually only interested in playing small pots.

and to dumb and dumber...it only sounds retarded because you dont understand it fuck face...ever seen what a working toaster looks like underwater? I RECOMMENDED YOU TRY IT!

and the game of poker is not retarded. it takes relative skill and a hell of a lot of knowledge to be successful in. i wouldnt expect someone like urself to understand.

I used to play poker back in freshman year of college both at the local indian casino and on ftp.

I can tell you right now to stop wasting your time and pursue something better. Sportsbetting, if you know what you are doing, is way better than poker.

Also, i completely understand your poker lingo... some idiot didn't know that youre only supposed to play X hand and better from middle position.... wow what a surprise!

Sorry 99% of people playing poker don't know what utg, bb+1, mp2 etc mean. If you actually look at the amount of time you spend vs the amount you make, you'll find online poker is a terrible route to pursue.

o i definatley understand the amount of money/x amount of time made online is sub prime, but i look at online play as more of a practice tool. its just frustrating because especially when it comes to online play, with people playing hands like j-2 k-5 etc in middle position and CONSISTENTLY sucking out. but i do prefer live play over online any day.

i find it entertaining and fun though so i dont plan on quitting any time soon.

Oh no i understand your post completely. I just think that playing online poker is retarded. It sounds retarded when you talk in poker lingo because it is retarded... I understand it, but its still retarded. And i really dont think you need to be a genius to know what "rockets" are.

online poker is a cyphin for money. I have seen some of the worst beats (and have had some amazingly bad beats, like I flop a boat, somebody hits running quads). It's all part of the game. If i'm getting junk all night, I just stop playing because I know gettin some "good" cards aint going to mean shit.

That being said my latest round of online poker has been solid. Started with a petty bankroll of $25 and now am at over $700 in just a couple weeks. Not bad for how little I've been playing. And fuck full tilt for banning my ass and taking my money.

Well poker isn't retarded I think it's the hasard game with the most % of skills vs luck. And Internet playing is real good as a practice because it helps you get over any bad beat you could get at a live table because there's so many hand played on online that you've seen it all. Donkey's shoving, Bullets ain't holding up. etc...

Btw I'm playing for a Main event seat tomorow /claim!

Yeah well I know but there's 5 seat awarded over 20K ppl but there must be 5 ppl so why not me eh! Plus I won my seat to this satelite over a 5FTP satelitte ahah so that would be an incredible run just imagine!!

You're 12. i doubt you played much poker when you were 8.

As for the OP you have to deal with it. Play a higher table. The lower the table online the more donkeys you have to deal with. If you're at one of those tables where everyone is playing bad hands and sucking out, play nothing but the best hands. You need to change you're style for who you're playing against.

Or just move to a different table with the same blinds. Try and find a table that is actually playing poker.

Idk, I hear you though. Online poker can suck sometimes.

Considering you're responses you have a way's to go my friend. poker is mental. Not tilting out and throwing stuff is something you have to figure out, even after a bad beat.

There's a huge difference between playing poker for m&ms and playing for money. You probably never played enough to get good. Poker is an easy way to make some money. You just can't get greedy. people who win money and then keep moving to higher tables eventually get raped. But still, real easy money

We started out playing in the same tourney, then when one of us got out, we paired up and gave each other advice. We were in the same room at the same computer, not like colluding online. It's not really cheating, its just being smart. Honestly colluding with two people in a tournament with over 6000 people is hardly going to help you. We played really well, make some tough calls, but in the end it was luck. I think we started at 7pm, then fucking won 10 Gs at 6am, it was EPIC. Went totally ballistic and were in awe.

Not really at all. i think it's amusing that people are actually thinking  ohmyboshes post is smart.

Some people suck at poker. Winning money playing cards is easier than working for it. Pays for gas money and getting drunk here and there. It's only a shitty game if you lose every time you play

Yeah online playing is real hard to get out of it. I think it's even more addictive than live because you can sit in your chair in front of your computer and play at it for hours without even noticing them.

But I don't play poker too seriously, I mean I think I could get out if I wanted to but right now I just feel good about poker!

Yeah well on the internet AND live the respect given to you're raise is, IMO, higher in higher limits because people know how to play better when they are higher limits but that doesn't eliminate real floater players that floats pots here and there even in higher limits.
