Replying to Shipping with Greyhound?

I'm moving out west in a few more days and I'm bringing a lot of gear, two maybe three pairs of skis, extra bindings, boots, a lot of outerwear, ski tuning gear... you get the picture.

I did the math and it's cheaper to greyhound all my gear, I can even send my bike which is a huge plus for me since I love it almost as much as skiing.

who here has shipped with greyhound before? has anyone ever had their stuff mishandled or lost? how did greyhound deal with it?

I know it'll prbably be alright, but my life is in these bags and if they get lost or stolen that means I need new EVERYTHING.
