Alright, so I like most of newschoolers, would like to get a video camera. I've searchbarred and done some research and I've decided to get a canon hf s100. My mom leaves for nyc tomorrow so when she is there she can go to b and h and buy it for me for a much cheaper price than in Canada. But now that i'm close to buying it i'm second guessing my choice. I'm just wondering if i should spend the extra couple hundred on the hf s10 or the hf s11. I'll be filming skiing, longboarding, short movies in film class and other random stuff.
I would say ya, go for it. Sure someone will say get HV30... but then import is a bitch blah, blah, blah... Its a SD card which is way better then a HDD. The camera has a lot of controls/customs settings on it. Again, I would say go for it.
