Here is the story.  I agreed to buy a blue iridium lense of him for $55.  He has not shipped it, all I get are excuses.  At this point I do not want the lense, I just want my money back..  I have contacted my credit card company and I am having them refuse the paypal payment.  I am making this thread so that everyone else on NS is aware of how Jordan.Steeze acts.  He seems to have good karma, and that is what fooled me.  Be very very careful in dealing with this kid.  If the lense does show up, I will of course pay him.  But he has had plenty of time to do the right thing and until now he has not.  Here is a log of our convos…

It hasn't really been that long since you made the deal. Making needless callout threads isn't cool.

Give it another week, maybe something actually did come up. I know I've taken over a week to ship things out before, because of various circumstances. Did the member have good feedback?

I take more stock in that than karma, karma is just a number. Feedback is another persons word. Be careful who you deal with on here. I've never personally been scammed but it happens. I hope things turn out well for you

I agree that it hasn't been all that long, but given the excuses, I did not think I would get anywhere with this until I took more drastic measures, that is why I created this thread.  And it worked, now I seem to have this kid's attention.

I told you I was going to call you out. I do not have the lense and you have my money. I do not want my money back and the lense I want one or the other. I have given you plenty of time to prodice a tracking number, or something that verifies you sent the lense. Every time I ask you nicely I get set a half assed response of "I will get it to you later", or "I will ask my mom" IF you sent it...awsome get me a tracking number so that I can find out where this thing is and I will take this up with UPS or Fedex or whoever you sent it through. All I know is that I gave you money and you have not given me anything but excuses.

yeah its true, if you are selling something on here and you send some one a pay pal request for money, once you receive that payment i think its ridiculous   not to get it out within 3 business days. the buyer held up his end of the agreement  and ssent you his money, and you sit there running him in circles and joking about how you have computer class all day you can come on ns and type shit like this in the thread, but it has taken over a week to ask your mom for a tracking number. if you can't ship something out withing 3 days of selling it then don't take the guys money.  from the history its been 3 weeks, he has given you enough time to provide him with the information he requested, i think a call out is warrented , thank you for the call out, i won't deal with this dude

Damn really? I wouldn't buy shit from you. i ship stuff out next business day...one time it was 2 days later... there is no reason not too. but a few weeks and nothing...that's insane.

Thank you, if you receive payment for an item you are selling, there is no reason not to get an item out that day or the next day.

It's a business transaction not a let me take your money and then find time when its convenient for me to ship it...

ps karma means NOTHING because little 10-15 year old faggots look at photos of how much better you are then them and they rate you down...and/or you say your fave skier and they disagree so they pull your karma down...i hate karma it is so useless on this site.

Feedback is left by buyers and sellers and tells you what's up as far as seriously dealing with a person.

I'm not exactly calling him out but it takes about a year to reply and i see him on frequently and after i PM him 3 times i finally get an answer which doesn't tell me shit about where we are at with the transaction. I made a Paypal at his request and put money in just for this and i was really relying on this lense for riding starting about a week ago and i get nothing and nothing. The money has been refunded.  If I get the lense I will ship it back to you if you want it.  You wont need to pay me anything else, I already reveived my money back.  If you still want to sell the lense I will send you the $55 again.  You didn't have to refund my money, if the lense has been sent just give me proof of that and I will take the issue up with Fedex or which ever company you used.   Just to be clear here I didn't want to call you out, all I wanted was clear communication.

ok then, so in the future when is the appropriate time to call him out?  I paid him on Oct 21, he first told me the lense was shipped on Nov 1, I call him out on Nov 12.  So it takes him 13 days to tell me he shipped the lense, and another 10 days later he still cannot produce any evidence that the lense has been shipped.

I feel justified in calling him out because 3 hours after creating this thread I had a resolution to it.  So it took 3 hours publically, to accomplish what could not be accomplished in 3 weeks privately. 

Plus this kid still says the lense is on it's way here, yet he still cant produce a tracking number after this whole mess we've been through.  What are the odds that a blue iridium lense is sitting on his desk right now?

I think its also pretty likely the kids 13 and disorganised and lacks the maturity/common sense/intelligence yet to do basic business, sounds like he was just a bit overwhelmed by it and his dad bailed him out, which is fair enough and kind of explains why he was so slow about it. So you never know they might be/probably are in the post. I think if he was trying to scam you he would have just dissapeared and not refunded you.

Don't even get me started on this kid. I have been trying to get my money for a apple computer I sold him almost a year ago. All it is are excuses. I think he is trying now, but he definatley needs to get his shit together and fix the problems he has caused. The good thing about this kid is he hasn't dropped off the face of the earth, its just impossible to get my money.
