ok so i searchbarred it and didnt find anything so sorry if you feel the need to bitch.
other than the little thing at the beginning i think it is quite interesting, while still remaining entertaining carl sagan sure knows how to attract the general populous

i have come to the conclusion that we will never know of the 4th dimension. my friend explained that with 3 eyes we could, but i refuted with the idea, that even if 3 eyes we wouldn't recognize it, when i close one eye have no depth perception, but i can recognize the 3rd d. only because i know the 3rd dimension

A third eye wouldn't make a difference. We would have to enter a whole new dimension or a new universe.

If this interested you and you've got some time on your hands, pick up the book "The Elegant Universe". I believe it is written by Brian Greene. It is about string theory and discusses all the different dimensions that may exist. If i remember correctly from the book it is somewhere around twelve. Some of it was way over my head but very interesting and thought provoking.

that book helps a lot, i am on chapter 2 or 3, but it is amazing and worth reading if you want a better explanation of the world you live in

I wouldn't say "probably." It's a possibility, and it's convenient mathematically.

But it's all very theoretical and speculative. None of this has been experimentally verified.

I've read a fair amount on this stuff, and it's interesting, don't get me wrong. But it's not the end-all, be-all of science, at least not yet. It's a possibility, one of many. Still very undeveloped by scientific standards.

I'm going to restrain myself and stop here, I've written novels in threads like this. Just remember to keep it in perspective.

we had to watch this in my space/earth science class plus the movie "the elegent universe" i found both very interseting....the video however suggests that that are totally flat if so they woldnt have any mass at all....

however, this could cause an equilibrium in all the dimensions... when there's an equilibrium space nor matter exists leaving nothing. The end of everything.

i;ve reasd both the fabric of the cosmos and the elegant universe. VERY interresting. For a quick synopsis, look at the elegeant universe nova special on youtube. It does a good job in covering the basic idea.
