Is drinking a problem in anyone elses life?

I think I have a drinking problem. I dont really have a problem admitting it. I love getting drunk and that 3-5 hours every night of the week when I am drunk are great. But, when its over or nights when its me and a friend getting drunk I know I have a problem. I really wish I could stop drinking, but I dont have the will power to do it yet. Anyone else feel  the same way?

alcholism is one of the few diseases that actually makes you tell yourself you don't have a problem. any guilt he might be feeling might not be from the booze but instead the realization that he does have a drinking problem.


my advise, go to an AA meeting. check it out and see what you think. you dont have to talk and your not joining anything.


whats the worst that could happen? you go to one and decide to continue drinking.

i drink ocassionaly, but i only get totally annihilated once every 2-3 weeks

my only problem with drinking is im not doing it right now. but in all honesty if u have a problem try really hard to not drink for a week if u cant do it try every other day if u cant do that u have a problem

lets just say ive watched my parents, and brothers all my life. i passed on drinking(not entirely) but i found other drugs to be more responsable

word, me to, im a junior in HS, i drank once a week or twice a week, got arrested for it and stopped for a bit then started up again, once a week tops so no i dont think i have one

I take 18 credits a semester, and drink at least 2 40's a night. i guess you are just a BITCH. get your shit together and develope a tolerance.

Every now and then I question if it for myself. It's not so much that I drink everyday, it's that when I drink I'm pretty...er...wild. I've lost count of how many nights I've blacked out. No joke. One weekend I blacked out 3 nights in a row. It's fun having a great time and being the ridiculous/funloving  one but I'm starting to get a rep for it, which kinda sucks. At this point, being a college senior I think I've come to the decision that I'm gonna try the whole moderation thing for awhile.

So yeah, just my thoughts/situation

reminds me a weekend that i blackout 2 days in a row, and was like ZOMGZ
first day i drink from 9 am to 11 pm then blackout at a club, i regain conciousness 5 km from there walking home
second day im in hampton beach, and we rented a house and we drank a lot of hard shit. Then we felt like smoking pot. The rest of my night was dedicated to asking everyone on the boardwalk if they had pot. I talked about life to complete strangers and yelled at police officers. I even invited some stranger weirdos at our house. I woke up in the morning and 2000 $ worth of checks were missing in my pockets and 50$ cash.
believe me the day after i felt like shit. (Thinking about it, i always feel like shit after having abused alcohol, because i always do super dumb stuff.)
