HELP!!!!!

I went to a party Saturday night (the 7th). Attendees were 17-19 years old. There was plenty of booze and weed there, as normal. In the morning, the host of the party found out that someone had stolen a TV, Wii, and box of jewelry from the house at some point during the night. She called the police and reported it. Now I'm pretty certain they will come to interview me about it. I am wondering if it's in my best interest to tell them the truth about everything that happened (including that I consumed both alcohol and weed), or try to make up another story?
I'm not sure if lying to police in this case constitutes interfering with a police operation, which is illegal?
Just for the record, I did not steal anything.

There was a party.  You were there.  You did not see anything.  No one cares if you smoke or drink.

^  you don't have to tell them you drank or got baked.  they probably won't even ask about that.  The Po po are interested about the theft, not that you were crunk.

they probably wont ask if you were smoking or drinking. and im fairly certain even if you say you were drinking they cant do anything without proof.

but if you say you were drinking, isn't that all the proof they need?  kinda self-contradictory.  anyways, i don't think they'll do anything about it even if you tell them.

after the fact, most cops are chill about partying. i've left parties where the cops were waiting outside, and admitted to drinking and they were just like alright, well just dont get into trouble. i was 15 at the time. they don't care as long as you arent a menace and a douche to them. act like youre clean cut, and theyll treat you fair.

Without a court order, you do not have to answer anything.  even if cops intimidate you, threaten you, etc, you do not have to say anything.  if you say nothing, then they have nothing on you.  Answer questions relating the theft, and for everything else, you don't remember.

I've told plenty of cops about me drinking and smoking and even about buying weed, you can't actuall get into any trouble and when they interview you they will tell u this before.
