Hey I am new in town, I posted a thread awhile back about the U of M ski and snowboard club it looks like there are a bunch of skiiers that go to school here. I have a car and season passes to hyland which I will be skiing on weekdays and welch which I will be skiing on weekends. I am looking for other people that would need a ride to the hill to split gas costs etc. I am just asking now cuz I am about to sign up for classes and trying to figure out my schedule/planning for the next semester. Let me know.

why not both? welches is cheap enough to buy yourself and just have your mom get you they hyland, your gonna get the best of both areas doing this, hyland goes off during the week and is just a zoo on weekends.

exactly the 99 dollar college pass is a steal...and like steeze said hyland is great for the week since you are up there, but ont he weekends its chaotic, and welch will be nice even though it gets busy it has way more space to have fun on

yeah that's definitely possible. i don't know how many 10 year olds i have had to jump over on the tow rope on weekends at hyland. welch would be fun just because ive never beeen there.

yeah i thought this would be a good balance. Its relatively quick to drive from the U to welch and supposedly they are getting an upgraded park this year. We will see.
