Me and some of my buddies from St. Louis are heading up to Chestnut the 27th and 28th (weather permitting). Does anyone know how likely they are to open on time?? Because I am itching to get on the snow and ill be bummed if they dont open on time... Thanks
the weather around here is going to be around 40 to 30 degrees meaning they wont make snow. SO i dont think they will be happening on time but if it does i'll post in this thread
Jordan you're a tard. The week before the planned opening date we're supposed to have lows in the upper 20s-low 30s.
Chestnut has one of the best, if not the best, snow making systems in the midwest and they can open up multiple runs in just a few hours of cold. They are going to be pushing extremely hard to make the set opening date. While they most likely won't be entirely open, unless we get hit with a freak warm front they will definately have a few runs open and at least one will have some kind of park features.
hahah dude this was from last year. I dont think ill be going this year. just blew out the binding on my moments. and i dont have any mounts left... unless i can squeeze one more in.
But yeah, last year they didnt even open on time. idk what the news is this year.
