Withdrawing from a class?

I'm a freshman in college about to possibly flunk a class and the deadline for withdrawing from classes is coming up. I can either drop the class or hope to possibly do well on the final which might get me like a C. Does anyone know will withdrawing from a class mess up chances for graduate school and stuff like that (like would schools automatically disqualify me because there is a withdrawl on my transcript)?

it depends on your other class grades, what program you are in and what type of grad school stuff you want to do.

being that your a freshman and if you think you can pass the class do your best to stick it out. it will be worth it. it would suck more to have to take a make up class in the summer of even worse winter break. one C wont kill your overall GPA.

F= always withdraw
D= talk to your advisor
C=I wouldn't
But in any case, go ask the professor if there is anything you can do. So many kids are just too proud to do it, but you really have nothing to loose
