Hyello again, for those who noticed, I asked earlier to compare two skis (Moment Bibby vs. Surface One Life) ( https://www.newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/493589/ ). It was some very helpful stuff. Thing is, I've done some thinking and consideration, I dont want a ski over 114mm in the waist. Not Quite versitile enough and I won't like it on a majority of the days. So I'm scratching the idea of purchasing the Bibbys @ 190, and looking for something else again.
(Copied from previous thread)
I'm looking for a ski that will survive my last season before I head out to school. I have twisted and warped my 183cm Blends last year and the season before I destroyed and blew apart my 181 Thugs. I am 6'2", around 170lbs. I live in Golden and ski Kicking Horse, so the ski is going to be everything, Big Mountain, Powder and just playing around of the drought days.
I'm heading out on plenty of road trips this year, so this ski will also take on the great abyss of different terrain.
This year I'm going with a rocker, I'm rather excited about it.
So I looked around kinda, and have stumbled across the Atomic Blogs. It has a better turning radius, not that big of a rocker (which I like), and most important of all, dimensions that will make me happy in everything. At 185, the dimensions are 134-110-126, with a turning radius of 19m.
I've look around NS and read what people say, not much to say. So I'm hoping this more detailed thread will bring some insight into this ski. I'm pretty sold on it right now.
Also, if there are any other similar skis (>114mm, rocker), I'd love to hear it. I've skied both the Salomon Czar AND Armada JJ, not really a fan of either.
Thank you
