Don't try it. It fuckin' licks balls. Well, technically it was one ski and one snow shoe most of the way. My ass skins up for 3 hours to have my binding break 100 YARDS FROM THE PEAK. Quality. 3000 feet of pure enjoyment I tell ya.

yeah i did that at alta because my ski ejected and slid down like 1000 vertical feet, it was in 4 and a half feet of powder too, and i was on my stupid 75mm waist 1080s that are too short for me

The ski didn't get away from me.....it broke (well the binding actually). I had it with me the whole time. I just sucks ass when you work hard to earn good turns and you are denied by malfunctioning equipment. I was so close to the top too. Oh well.
