Under 18 Photo Contests

I have been looking around for some good photo contests for people under 18. I am 17 and I keep finding contests but they are for 18 and up. The only contests I find that I can enter don't have any prizes I really want. Does anyone on here know of any good ones that I could get exposure through?

who gives a flying fuck, care less about getting money and prizes.  shoot for the enjoyment of it.


i'm a huge believer in the idea that things become incredibly less fun when it becomes a job.  so would you rather have a job or something you love?  but who is going to listen to me, I only have 18 karma *gasp*

well I do love photography and you need exposure to get known so you can get hired, it's a pretty big industry

Dude, I interned as a photographer this summer and I got to say that it was the best summer I have had yet

Don't know about the photo contests though. Sorry.

Not sure, but I think Drexel University has some contests you could do.  One of my friends won a contest there last year and I'm pretty sure he was 17 when he entered.  No idea what the prizes would be though.

too bad i didnt see this a few weeks ago... i see you live in morgantown.. WVU literally just had a photography contest. im a wvu student... it was like best scenic shot of west virginia or something like that.. im not sure if it was just for students or what. but if another one comes up i'll let you know. i think 1st place was like 100 bucks or something
