What to plug old mount holes with?

I am remounting my skis myself and wondering what is best material to fill the old mount holes with? +k for help!!!

At shops they have little plastic plugs that they epoxy in.

Golf tees. lightley hammer it into the hole which was previously filled with wood glue and break it off. then  file down the stub and let it dry for a few hours. cheap and effective

Thanks, what about using silicone (caulk) in the hole and then covering that with waterproof epoxy?

the golf tee idea is better, or you could get a thin wooden dowel to put in there with wood glue then epoxy over that. I don't think silicone would be the best plan.

well the silicone is not really solid so it'll move plus the holes are small enough that even if you just got a small tube of epoxy you should have more than enough to fill em all, all the way up. so just do all epoxy.

ok, thanks think i might try the golf tee thing (if i can find one) or just use epoxy.

^  the good thing about golf tees is they fit perfectley in a ski screw sized hole

straight epoxy is the same as shoving in somthing just fill the hole with epoxy it works just fine.

many things work, these are the best if you want to do it properly. You can probably get some a shop for close to nothing too.

Set white wood gloe or epoxy or silicone seal in the hole. Snip the pointly end off as much as reasonable, softly hammer it down and use a chisel to cut off the excess... use a marker to colour the hole
