I was absent one day this year, and I messed up (I know it is my fault) and didn't get a note in on time to the attendence office. So they are considering it an unexcused absence and are not willing to reverse it. This means that I have a 0 on an 80 point test that I made sure I made up. My parents called the school, and it is coming down to emailing the teacher.
This is where I need to know what to do. Should I email the teacher and risk that she will say no or not do anything and hope that she doesn't notice my unexcused absence when putting in my grade for this marking period?
