I've had a few problems with Tom Tom telling me to go somewhere then I know there is definitely a much easier way.
Example: I was on a small back road, came to an intersection with a main road. If I went east, then north onto another main road, and headed north for about 15 miles I would be where I wanted to go.
Instead, it told me to go west for about 20 miles, north for about 40 miles, then south for another 25 miles.
That's probably the worst I've had it do for me, another one sent me like 15 miles from the route I went on a trip that was only supposed to be about 45 miles.
In hawaii with my family, we typed in Hanauma Bay into our garmin gps to go to the beach. After driving for a while, we reached the end of a road, the gps told us to "navigate off road" with the line pointing forward. Turns out we were getting directions to the middle of the bay rather than the beach. Not a big supporter of garmin, but i guess they all have bugs
garmin nuvi 265wt.. its wide screen and supports bluetooth and turn by turn voice directions with millions points of interest. I picked one up for 185. defintely worth it.
yoo bro...PM me if you want to buy my gps from me. ill send you the details and such if ya message me, and your actually interested in it. its reall nice. and its a garmin
This has to do with the GPS all together. usually a software update fixes the issue. I had this issue, and a recent software update on garmin website fixed it. The more people that get GPS units, the slower the network will be..
