chronics poppin boners

why is everyone popping fat ones on the chronics. yes line makes sick skis but iam pissed that line did not make them in a 182. from what i have read that this is the jesus crist of skis. are they differant form the 1260 of last year? bu that just me.

they are just wider 1260s with a thicker base and edeges. but the new 1260 are gonna be a deal.

you better be pretty tall.

I highly suggest you get these skis to the top of your head (assuming you're average weight) and not much/any taller.

I'm 5'6' riding the 177's and I couldn't control them to what I felt was sufficient.
BUt i didn't have much time on them, nor did I get used to them.

either stay short, or get used to a longer ski. i rock an old pair of salomon 160's and my new darkside 175's. switching between the two always screws with me. specially with toxics and tailgrabs.

yeah, i wanted those 12s, but they dont have the ollie bands or the thick edges. my old 12s are destroyed, and the edges under foot are cracked and bent. i dont really want a stiff ski like the chronics, and the MNs and Skogans are huge. i dont need a ski like that. also, does anybody else feel that line is lacking skis in the low 170 range?
