Setting a cookie

Is there any chance that the site management can set a cookie system up so that i don't have to keep plugging in my name/password, cos i have tthings to do and im impatient and want to get on ns so i can read the articles and soil the treads quicker -

sorry if this is a repost/resolved story/resolved issue
