i was just thinking that it would be cool to have an instant messaging  network on new schoolers... what do you guys think?

I think we already have something pretty damn close, it's called the cult chat. If you want an FB chat type thing, go to facebook... it never works, anyways.

it would be really sick to have for doing sales and stuff, would be a lot easier than PM'ing back and forth haggling

it would make selling stuff a lot easier that's for sure, but I think it's not really necessary and would slow down the site too much.

yeah it would more than likely bog down the site. And other than BST there really isn't much need for it.

spamming and trolling would be a lot worse, and to prevent that you would need to only be able to talk to certain friends, and then they would need to make it so you need to request and accept people as friends and BAM! we're facebook. Its a brilliant idea, and would be awesome, but that would be one major flaw.
