Does any body have designs for a foldable roll in?

Come on, it can't be that hard to figure it out. if you haven't got the technical knowledge to figure out how to put a hinge on a drop in, maybe you shouldn't build one. The hinge will severely weaken your design, I think your best off with the usual, unless there is absolutely no way at all to take it with you.

what you could do, is make two triangles of sorts, with sides that all have hinges, except one corner. On that corner, have a simple lock mechanism, as in a peg-and-hole setup. Put plywood between them, voila you have the drop. for the flat part on top, just use some milk crates or another triangle set up a small distance away, with some plywood on top.

Etch-a-sketch, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Haha, well I was hoping to make a ladder type desing. How do people make those, I've seen them in Turbo but like do theirs fold up? Or do they take it apart?

Well the ladder type thing's what I'm talking about. It's sort of like this: /\ with a hinge at the top, and somewhere in the middle, it'd have peg holes, and a brace to go across that would keep the legs from spreading apart.

This is my dropin. It isn't very tall but I was restricted by the size of my car. It folds perfectly, 6 feet long and fits in my ford explorer

No need for a hinge, the 2x4's keep it very secure

It is pretty fast for a dropin it's size and only using water and soap. I'm sure everything could be adjusted if you wanted it taller. I have yet to try it with snow on top and I think it will work for urban fine

Sweet!  Nice job. 

For those who don't have the sick carpentry skills, you can buy an aluminum ladder that has 3 folding joints.  They are pretty expensive, but this place has them sometimes for cheap:  http://www.harborfreight.com

For something that would absolutely fit in the trunk of a car, and could be pulled out to urban anytime, I would get one of the 3 hinge folding ladders and get a piece of plastic lattice fence.  Cut the fence so that you can lay it on top of the rungs of the ladder.  Attach some kind of j-hook to the top of the lattice so that you can hang it from the top rung and it won't slip down.  I would cut the piece of lattice so that it extends past the end of the ladder a little when you set it up so that it gives you a smoother tranny.  This is something you could take anywhere and be set up in 5 minutes.  It's perfect for a summer setup too.

i have one like this...theyre supposed to roll but mine dosent for some reason, but works just as good as if it did roll, good part is no soap/water needed so your wood/lawn/waterbill  dosent get fucked

I'll PM it to you too, but I think you could do drop to jump for about $250 including the ladder.  additional build time would be minimal. Also posted idea for light weight, portable box set up.  Wouldn't fit in a trunk but you could strap it on a ski rack and go.  Here's the link:

Cool.  Stoked for you.  As soon as I can convince my wife to let me spend $179 on the ladder, I'm going to pick it up.  I already have the lattice so all I need to pick up is one of those cheap skateboard ramps.  Keep that in mind especially all you guys in the UK who said they couldn't get set up in time.  Again, check out this link for a perfect hit and run set up.  Should be able to set it up in less then 5 minutes and be ready to jib.

Props to Diamonds.  Wood's good too, but this will end up being lighter and should break down to fit in a trunk or pretty small car.
