I am in the market for new boots as my Dalbello Rampages are becoming so worn in the toe piece that sooner rather than later they wont integrate well enough with my bindings. I am gonna avoid Dalbellos this year as in Canada they are pretty pricey $800 for the Il Moro. Also Id like to go with a lighter boot. I am between shoguns and Full Tilts at the minute as I can get a good deal on both. Obviously Im gonna try both on but I was wondering whether anyone has had the shogun on their feet.
Does it feel the same as the Ghost? Mike Douglas says its roomier in the forefoot? Is it based off a falcon shell (little instep room), as I have relatively high arches and dont want another bone spur on top of my foot.
Also is it the same X3 plastic as the ghost ie; lots of rebound and laterally stiff....
And lastly whats the shock absorption like in the tongue, is it just a standard Salomon liner or is there gel in the tongue etc....
