VR28 Black Iridium

are these the lenses that look comepletely black, so you cant see eyes at all??

if not what ones are?

VR28 and Black Iridium are two different lenses, VR28 looks brown and is kinda see through, Black Iridium is Black and pretty hard to see through (by see-through I assume you mean from the outside in). The two best lenses to prevent people from seeing through are Fire Lenses and Grey Polarized.

If you want a b-dog style murdered lens you need the grey polarized, that's the one he uses.

no it says on oakley that those are VR28 Black iridium

yeah, you're right, I forgot about those. They made a combo of two lenses so I thought you were asking about to different lenses.

Grey Polarized is what you're looking for though.

black irdium is actually pretty brown to be honest. at least that is what the oakley rep showed and told us last weekend

the reason black iridium appears to be more brown is because the base lens is persimmon.iridium is the coating they put on the lens to make it mirrored and have less light transmission for sunny days.

vr28 black iridium lens has a base lens of vr28. it is a darker base lens so it appears darker after the iridium coating is on. it also has slightly less light transmission. a lens with low light transmission is good for sunny days. ie. mirroed lenses(iridium)

Vr28 black iridium lets more light through than the just normal black iridium. i think i actually have a pair of VR28 black iridium on my new terje haakonson crowbars and you can see through them a little

yup ur rite actualy on the light transmission thing. i gt em mixed up. but when u can see through them is it in the sunlight or just normal flat light in ur house?

just flat normal light. im sure you cant see through them well, but i dont think they are completely mirrored
