The Pabst mansion is right next to the dorm I was in last year (I go to Marquette, Pabst is from Milwaukee), now nobody lives there, it is a landmark that gives tours.

I hate how PBR became trendy. It is a lower quality cheap beer (better than busch light, coors light, keystone or natty) and used to be priced as thus. All of a sudden these fucking kids make it cool, and it becomes expensive.

I suppose I shouldn't have said it gets expensive, but it is less cheap here now. Here in milwaukee we get pretty good beer prices though, the one people go with the most on campus is from Kampus Foods: flat of 24 16oz keystones for 12 bucks (50 cents a beer with 1/3 more than your regular can)

Milwaukees Best and Keystone are cheaper then PBR...by like 40 cents and 70 cents.
But PBR is pretty fucking cheap.
It is just funny because you can go to a bar and see a ton of kids drinking cans of PBR because its trendy and they get it for a steal! $2.50 a can!
2.50 x 30 = 70 bucks off a 30 pack that cost like $22

People laugh at me when I say I like PBR. They call me a hipster and all this bullshit.
All I'm saying is PBR has been a skier beer for years. It was basically ingrained in me that I was going to be a PBR drinker by the time I was 7 years old. My dad has a ridiculous amount of skier themed PBR signage and has drank it since his teens.
I just hope hipsters move on to something else soon...
