exactly. testimonials are a great way to instill confidence in a product to consumers, and doubly so for a "famous" person's testimonial. famous often means someone who is a big deal nationwide like regis philbin or ted nugent, but in niche industries they generally turn to the most recognizable figures in the industry to give the testimonials to the consumers targeted by the product. what better testimonial than to actually use the product?
sponsorships with athletes in the field a product is intended for have repeatedly and consistantly shown value in revenue increase as long as the rider is a good fit for the company and the marketing campaigns they put together around them.
if it wasn't financially beneficial for a company to sponsor a rider, or for any company to use anyone as a spokesperson, why would any company do it?
