i am looking at that level 1 red jiberish crew but im not sure if i should buy a large or extra large? i am 5' 9" and i want it to be pretty baggy but im not sure which size would be better? any help out there would be great.....

XL at least, I'm 5' 8" and I wear XL and it fits about 3 inches above my knees.

XXL seems best for you. I'm 5' 8" and Spence's XXL went a little past my knees/ or right around them.
