Right NS, I'm 5'6" ~160lbs, advanced skier. Looking for an mid-fat all mountain twin (between 90-100) to take to the Alps this season, probably 50% POW (snow dependent), 50% On piste (Park (mainly jumps)/Groomers/jibbing whatever else).
Having read around both here and elsewhere I was sure I was going to get this years 169 Kung Fujas with Schizo's which would fit the bill perfectly, especially with the ability to move the mounting point.
Was ideally looking for something relatively soft (currently ride PE's - which I'm not enjoying (too stiff for my liking)) and so would the Kung Fujas be soft enough (as I have read) that they are butter-able (I know the rocker will help). I have hand flexed them (the 179's) and they felt softer than the PE but still fairly stiff so I want to confirm this with those that have ridden them.
Now the question is are these perfect for what I am looking for or would something else work better. I have looked at the ON3P Jeromino's however that would mean buying in the USA and shipping here (UK) which would up the price. Also I would still want to mount with Schizo's to improve the all mountainousness of the ski and so would this work.
Suggestions welcome although I think I am fairly set on getting the Kung Fujas (I can get shop discount on them + Schizo's so that knocks the price down ~15%) just want to be sure of my decision before I buy as it is unlikely I'll be able to test them on snow before I buy them, which won't be until the end of the year/January next year just before I go (when I have most money).
