Question about Rossignol heel drill pattern.

Alright so I'm buying some skis from a friend that are drilled for Rossi 120's, you know the binding, the "jib dildo" one. But the skis come without bindings, and i'm on a very tight budget. I have older (3 seasons old now, but I don't think this matters) rossignol scratch 110's (called axial or axium also?). Is the drill pattern the same? I'm assuming for the toe it is because it looks like the same toe, just probably with more plastic. What about the heel though, since they're completely different looking? Is the drill pattern identical?

im not 100% sure, but i think the binding jig at my shop differs with the axium and the axial, ill have to ask one of the techs when i work again. For some reason i feel the axial heel has a narrower screw pattern

Toe pattern is fine but you are a bit outta luck on the heels

Depends on the years though, the patterns were the same at one point.

chances are the pattern is different...

anyhow, i don't know how much you paid or what you're planning to do with them but drilling new holes isn't as bad as you think: if you fill up the old ones properly and leave some space between the new and old holes you should be fine....

redrilling bindings once (if done properly) isn't as bad as one might asume...

Are your bindings mounted on skis? If not....

Get your mates skis, but a piece of paper over the top and punch through the holes with a pen to make a template. Line this up with your bindings and see if they match up. Fool proof method really.
