Water DEEP in my ear

AHHH its fucking killing me. went swimming today and got an ear full. tried all my normal home remedies, vinegar, heat, shakin head, etc. anyone got advice? if it is still like this in the morning im goin to the doc, but id like to be able to sleep tonight.

I usually lay my head ear down on a heating pad on low to medium and sleep on it. It'll be gone in the morning if you do that, trust me. Oh and take 2 ibuprofen too, that always seems to help for some reason.

Google "swimmer's ear." You'll get better results from that.
I have had swimmers ear many times, if it gets bad enough you'll have to see a doctor, but rubbing alcohol twice a day usually does the trick.

I got dirty lake water super deep in my ear last summer. I threw up almost 10 times in two days and it hurt sooooo bad. I did this and it worked.

dude had the same problem, but i couldn't hear anyhing, turn out i had swimmers ear, which sucks more, good luck though, but see a doctor fast, my parents are dumbass's and wouldn't take me to the doctor for three days, so yeah, life sucked

i get it all the time, iv always jumped up and down on one foot and it worked, but there was a few times where i just tilted my head under a tap and filled my ear up even more and it all drains out. thats all iv ever done

I have had fucked up ears for 22 years. Take my this advice given to me by an ENT. It works.

Have someone use an eye dropper to put two drops of rubbing alcohol in each ear canal while you lay on your size. When you feel it, sit up and the alcohol will run out along with the water it absorbed.

its called swimmers ear, stay out of the water for a few days and you should be ok. also try and sleep on whatever side feels like it has more water in it.

i got it over the summer if it doesnt come out the first day, DON'T use rubbing alcohol or any of that store bought stuff. It will hurt like a bitch because the water starts to agrivate ur ear and then when u put alcholhol down there. shit it hurts. Go see a doctor, mine turned into an ear infection, then into mastoiditis. that shit hurts. And you get all this yellow stuff that runs out constently.

thanks for the help people! i was in some fuckin pain last night, god damn. ended up poppin some tylonal + codeine and sitting with a hairdryer pointed in it for like a half hour, got a good deal of it out, and it finally stopped hurtin enough i could get some sleep. slept on it all night, and had a freakin puddle on my pillow in the morning. It doesnt hurt anymore, but i can still feel a little in there. gonna see bout some drops or something, might see a doc if it gets worse or doesnt go away. definitely dont want an ear infection. those suck.

ibuprofen lowers swelling. If there is some irritation and it is swelling it will create more room for the water to flow
