for those of you who do not listen to house, electro or have never been to a club, Steve "Vodka" Aoki is a Japanese American dude who is basically the worlds biggest hipster and a world class DJ. this being said, he can really kill a set when hes not on the floor passed out. anyway! i saw him and Diplo here in S'pore at Zouk and me and Aoki had a moment during his traditional ritual of distributing vodka to people in the front by pouring it into their mouths.
he first spilled on my shirt, a sleeveless Dale Earnheardt gem i bought at an Idaho Wal-Mart. then came back a second time, and said, "sorry man, he was a legend" and laughed while giving me a comforting couple of gulps. i emailed him a whle ago to see if he remembered me, and while most artists will never write you back the man himself sent me an email basically saying yo and saying i have a few Dim Mak records t-shirts on the way. stoked.
