i love groomers. and i think people dont give enough credit to how fun some fresh corduroy can be early in the morning. anyone else like going mach 4 and feeling your skis turn? park rats who cant set edges need not apply. lol jk.

yeah its soo dank. like when i teach we get first chair for early morning pro lessons, and i got to skis fresh cord on multipule occasions, edges bite soo nice. such a great feeling.

I have already skied (preseason) upwards of 10 times this season but i am unbelievably excited to ski some groomers.
I literally just had a conversation about this with my buddy just yesterday.

They're fun until they get all cluttered up with gapers zig zagging irregularly down the trail.  It's like they have a fucking radar and know exactly when to turn so you can't pass them.

One time we were headed back to the car after night skiing and we stopped to chief. When were don the groomer had just hit everything so we bombed the whole run then for like the last 50 yards rode right behind the groomer as it went down the hill. It felt niice

out of all honesty, i keep my 07 ac 40 on my rack (in a plastic bag to prevent rust) at all times, i never know when i just want to carve the musketeers out of the sexy slope sometimes dude

I'll probably break out my old race skis for a few runs this year.  Nothing like going super fast and laying some trenches every now and then.  I wish they made twin tips that were like race skis in every other aspect, and center mounted, so mobbing switch would be the illest.  I guess I could just get Addicts......

hells yeah. the best are early morning groomers before its crowded and you can just tuck and go. throw a few low turns in. especially at your home mountain when you know it like the back of your hand and can just let it fly all the way down.

Bombing down groomers with long carving turns is always great fun.  Either first thing in the morning of last run of the day as you are heading home.  Of course if there is POW then I'll do that (who wouldn't) but if there isn't and I've had it with the park (for whatever reason), always enjoy going as fast as possible down groomers (except for the gapers who get in the way).

i always love to get to the mountain early and get to be one of the first up the chair so you can get first run.  It's the best feeling just hauling ass and not having to worry about gapers infront of you.

dude i love groomers

i have moment tahoes with a 3 degree edge on them and i just take em to mt snow or stratton and tear up groomers all day

just going super fast, hip in the snow, weaving in and out of lift poles and gapers is so fucking fun

Mmmmm... When its just perfect corduroy, early in the morning, crisp air, quiet hill, and you just get on the groomer and do turns it is an awesome feeling, so smooth and sooooo much flow.

i dont care if theres fresh courduroy or not i just freakin racer tuck straight down. groomers are the best. you cant racer tuck in the park or on a pow day. screw those days

its one more dimension to skiing. hauling ass down groomers making your skis flex, turn and respond is very enjoyable. thats assuming you can make a half decent turn. not to mention if you are early enough then you can check out your turn marks from the lift on the way back up and see what youre doing right vs what you can work on the next run.

you know your turns are good when they stand out after lots of people have skied over them

in chile we had a pow day and my buddy and i got first tracks down a huge face by the lift and the whole day you could see our tracks because they were so much bigger than everyone else's /claim we linked about 6 turns where everyone else did about 20+
