How do you store you skis?

Hey NS, i was wondering just how you guys store your skis when your not using them other than just keeping them in a corner of the garage oh wherever, i have one in my room now, and i dont really like it, so i was hoping you could show my some of your ski racks, to give me some ideas on a better way to display my skis in my room,

(i'am betting that someone is just gonna take a pic of their in a skis in a crappy corner of their garage, please dont.)

yeah thats pretty dope, i just comi's and they dont quite fit on my rack, only just, and arv's and you have those two sitting right next each other, plus many others. Pretty sick. my rack is the same idea as that.

I put a thick layer of wax on mine (prevents the bases from drying out) and put them on a shelve.. when its time to take them out i scrape the wax off and im ready to go

well i own a ferrari so i just buy a new pair of skis and bindings everyday before i go skiing, but i store my boots in my closet next to my pure gold ski poles.

Both? Montana gets a shit ton, fucks things up when I go there in the winter for ground hog hunting AND Minneapolis becomes white for like 4-5 months out of the year.

Shit ton? I dunno about that doesnt big sky average 300 inches a year? The last couple years im pretty sure theyve had a couple <300 inch years as well.

suuuuuper easy.  just got a 2 dollar piece of wood from the hardware store, screwed the piece into the studs on the walls.  then i took some short pieces of dowelling and drilled holes into the piece of wood and hammered the dowels in.  you just measure the spacing in between the dowels to be slightly less than the fattest part of the tip so that when you put the ski on it when it slides down the tip will get caught between the pegs.  it took me about an hour to make the whole thing and me and my roommate did it while slightly drunk so its obviously really simple.

turn din down all the way, put a thick wax over base and edges and then i just store them in the corner of my room...

altough this thread has motivated me to make a proper skirack above my bed in the near future....

probably, i mean i have 4 pairs in my room atm but i only have 2 pairs of bindings so if anyone in france or the uk has some dildo bindings or salomons to sell let me know ;)

I arrange them in a criss-crossed mosaic of topsheets all balanced very precisely from the rafters in my house. That way if the party gets out of hand and the walls start shaking there is a small chance the offending party-goer will be partially buried by an avalanche of downhill and cross country skis. pics to follow of said mosaic.

Also I turn the useless ones into shoddy ghetto ski racks so my girlfriend doesn't harass me for having piles of old busted skis laying around. also pics to follow.

True with the older binding designs but not he newer spring mechanisms, you will break the binding long before you ever wear out the spring now.

my good skis I store wax and uncrank for summer. my park skis ususaly stay in the thule. I usually just check them in the shed.

Well I snowboard.  I have these two mount thinkgs on my wall that look like a right triangle.  I put my board graphic down on the mounts, and then I pile most of my snowboard shit on top of it.  Makes for good storage.
