i know you guys are all gonna say "oh cops suck, i hate them" but really, this was just blatant murder.
yeah they bust up your drinking and give you some trouble, but that's their job.
So, next time you think about how much you may dislike cops, think about all they've done for you.
Recently, Seattle has been gaining a lot of press about terrible, unfortunate tragedies like this. You've probably all seen my thread from last halloween when my friend Quincy was shot and killed.
Also this summer a well known kid (who i didn't actually know, but many of my friends did) named Aaron Sullivan (aka Sully) was shot and killed by an AK-47. That's ridiculous. Why should anyone own a fucking AK? In addition, another kid named Aufu was shot in the back last month and was nearly paralyzed. Also yesterday there was a shooting on Martin Luther King Way, and I'm not sure who the victim was yet, but the shooting was fatal.
Basically, I'm going on a rant about violence (especially gang violence) because it's so absolutely ridiculous. So, although I'm sure not a lot of you have participated or plan to partake in such acts, but think about what you say. I guess that's what I'm trying to tell you.
A cop was killed yesterday. Many people I know or have heard of have been killed, and i'm a white high school kid who doesn't even smoke or drink. That goes to show you that gang violence can affect people that have nothing to do with it at all.
So, R.I.P. Q, Sully, Aufu, and everyone else including the cop.
