i'm an upper level advanced (not park), and am starting to ski steeper, faster and do some smallish drops (10 feet or under, right now at least). However, in years past, i'd always just had my skis adjusted at a rental shop at the "type 3" setting. however, whenever i'd drop a small cornice in the middle of a line, or a small cliff my skis release. i want help knowing what DIN setting i should ski at, seeing as obviously the renal shops definition of "advanced" doesn't include drops and hucks.
I am 17 years old. 135 pounds, 5' 10" and ski on a 172 line blends. if anyone has suggestions, it would help alot. thanks.
