I just picked up some Rossignol FKS bindings from a ski sale. They were 10 bucks so I figured I couldn't go wrong. The fronts of the bindings are round and similar looking to marker bindings. The backs look like normal FKS bindings. They are purple and black, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
well they are for sure FKS, I've never heard of a 10 DIN FKS, but I guess there are some out there. Those are really sick and an AMAZING deal at $10. Good find.
Does anyone know about what they are worth? They are in practically new condition with no real signs of wear. The din was set at about 4, so I don't know what kind of person was using them before me. Unfortunitally, I am 6 3, 175 skiing park and idk if a DIN of 10 will hold up. Any thoughts?
I'll buy them if you're considering selling them - PM me and we'll talk about price. I don't know what they're worth, but you'll make some money if you only paid $10 for them.
there are tons of 10 din fks out there but ive never seen those. congrats on an awesome find. it feels great knowing your the only one on the slopes with a certain pair of bindings. ride em at 8 and dont look back. seriously enjoy em!
I think for now I will just mount em up and see how it goes. Thanks for all the insight I appreciate it. I think it will be a pretty unique setup on my spiral anthems
if your wondering about the geze toe, go google geze bindings. you'll be shoked at what you find out.
your shop may be able to mount them just depends if they have old jigs.
Geze was a binding company that made rossi bindings but then rossi became part of dynastar/lange/look and stuff and they changed the toe to the one found on the P and PX series of Look bindings and also on the new FKS they started re-selling this year
binding is taped down which is why the break is up, heel lever is also up so the metal piece in the back. Imagine this picture has an invisible boot in them (except the break lever is up)
They should be able to. The binding is still mountable according to rossi. Basically it depends on whether or not they have an older rossi jig, or the competence of the tech. You can easily mount skis without a jig, it takes patience and some experience.
